Cary Grace was born in South Carolina and lived in Nashville for many years, where she recorded and released her debut album Book of Rhymes. In 2005 she left the USA for the south-west of England where she lives now.

In 2006, she formed the Cary Grace Band as a recording and performance vehicle for her music, with Mark Griffin on drums, Andy Budge on bass guitar, Simon Drew on lead guitar, and David Kelly on keyboards. Since the band’s formation, Cary has been focused on recording and releasing a large and varied catalogue of material, and has been performing only limited dates.

September of 2007 brought the first release performed with the Cary Grace Band, Pandora, which featured a cover of the classic Cream track Tales of Brave Ulysses on the B-side. The first album, Where You Go, followed soon after.

In 2008 an EP, entitled Mendip Rock, was released digitally in the UK on the 14th of April, with a CD release planned soon on the Door 13 Music label.

The most recent album, Projections is a musical journey filled with poetry, melody, and sonic experimentation, culminating with the 18-minute psychedelic jam, “Eye”. The album’s six tracks will appeal to fans of classic English rock, progressive rock, and psychedelia. It is available digitally now, with a CD release planned for 2009.
